Did you live outside the census metropolitan area? What does that mean?

no one is answering the question . What IS a cma? How do I know whether i'm outside one?

A census metropolitan area (CMA) is one or more adjacent municipalities centred on a core population centre. Generally, if you live in, or close to a major city, you are in a CMA.
