My wife and I have an 80 / 20 split on a few capital gains and the updated software worked fine this time. The filing worked seamlessly. I did check that the Schedule 3 and T936 forms were properly in sync and the fields were properly entered first. I am not sure what would have happened if I had a capital loss. It is frustrating since you can only afford 5 attempts with Revenue Canada after which you need to send in a printed copy.
As it was said previously, we are aware of this issue, and we have an ongoing investigation about this. As this is an error message between Tax software's and CRA system, our team is working in collaboration with them to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
We will inform you in this thread, as soon as we have news to share.
We thank you for your patience.
Is this fixed already? Can we try now to resubmit?
We were able to file both of our returns on Friday and within 24 hours the returns were assessed so no issues. However, we both had capital gains so I don't know if one has a capital loss what will happen.
Thanks! I have capital gain too. I tried now and was able to netfile finally!
Is it fixed? Only have 1 more chance to file.
If you see one of the following error codes, it's due to a CRA issue affecting all tax software in Canada. We're working with the CRA to get this resolved by the end of next week. Error codes: 2508, 2515, 45555, 90228, 90308, 95031, 95033, 95034, 95365 or 99915.
Thank you for your patience.
