How long does it normally take a tax expert to do your taxes?

I submitted my taxes beginning of April and paid for an expert to do them. I have yet to have them filed and response time via chat is very long.

Is this normal? I feel like I’ve been cheated and could have had my taxes done weeks ago. 
Has anyone else had this issue or know where I can go to properly contact whoever is in charge?
