How to change an online version to a download?

Hi, I have been using Turbo Tax for years. For taxes 2019 I decided to go on-line. I purchased Turbo Tax Premier for my husband and myself for CAN 80.34 which were charged to my MasterCard. I cannot download my previous tax returns for me and my husband for 2018. And I do not have any control over the program.  When I want to start all over again, it tries to charge me again. It is a nightmare.  Can I get a version to download? PLEASE.  The advertisement was that I can start for free, and only I would be charged when I submit the taxes to CRA. This is obviously NOT true. I was charged and nothing works.

The codes for TurboTax Online don’t work with TurboTax CD/Download. You can request a refund for the online version and then buy the CD/Download version if you want. Regarding your 2018 returns, do you have multiple accounts? If you do, the returns that you are looking for may be in a different account then the one you are looking at. Also, if you don’t see the returns available for print at the bottom of 2019’s My Returns page, try going to back to 2018 directly. You can get there via this link: https://2018.turbotaxonline.intuit.ca/ If you can see them in 2018 and they are paid returns, our phone support team can assist you with getting to appear in your 2019 account.

I applied for the refund. I hope it will work. Then, I will buy the download version. Somehow this year TurboTax managed to be more cumbersome, more expensive and more limited, all at the same time. And my 2018 submission of taxes is stored safely on my computer, so I do not have to worry if the TurboTax stored or not. In fact, I prefer not.
