Multiple Return & Multiple Years

All version of TurboTax allow for paper filing, and they all allow you to add dependants. The CRA currently accepts returns from 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 via NETFILE, so you will have to paper file 2016.

If you want to use TurboTax Online, we currently only have 2020, 2021 and 2022 available. You will have to use Self-Employed for 2021 & 2022 if you are reporting Self-Employment income. If you are preparing your return together with your spouse, then you will be using the same version of TurboTax and both returns will be charged the same price.

If you want to use TurboTax CD/Download (for Windows), it's currently available for 2016 to 2022. For 2016 & 2017 we only have Home & Business available, but you can choose any version of the software for 2018 to 2022. For Self-Employment income, we would recommend Home & Business, but all versions of TurboTax CD/Download have the ability to enter Self-Employment income.
