My son is a university studnt and we paid for his dental expenses. Can we claim them or do they go on his tax return?

If you have paid for your son's expenses, you can certainly claim the expenses on your own return. If he needed to use the expenses to reduce his own tax payable, then he might consider using them on his own return. 

 

You can claim Medical Expenses for dependants over the age of 18. However, when claiming these expenses you will need to exceed 3% of their net income and enter the expenses differently in TurboTax.
