I have used the desktop version for many years now
this year I mistakenly bought the Deluxe online edition - I started using it and don't like it at all - how do I switch to the desktop version without having to buy a new package?
If you accidentally bought TurboTax Online and want to switch to TurboTax Desktop, the online purchase can’t be converted into a Desktop license as the codes are not interchangeable.
What you can do:
Request a refund for the online software you purchased, you can then buy the Desktop version you need.
