code # 95365 how to fix this?
For people with only capital gains, the following procedure might allow you to Netfile with today's updated version of TurboTax Desktop:
- Download the latest version of TurboTax Desktop from here: https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tax/software/download
- Uninstall current version.
- Install new version.
- Make sure the About Box shows the following version (or even later version if you are reading this a few days from how): Version 00.01.62 Build 6007 068G25
- Open both spouses' returns and examine line 17600 on Schedule 3 and Lines 68140 and 68150 in Chart A of form T936. Make sure that all of the following conditions from the definition of error 95365 pass do not exist anymore.
- Spin around 3 times and shake salt (pink Himalayan salt...very important!) over your left shoulder.
- Cross your fingers.
- Netfile, baby!
I hope that helps.

It is now April 3, has anyone been given an answer how to fix this error?
This is delaying my refund.

I'm wondering what the downside is of simply printing theT1 and mailing it if not able to Netflix? Does this result in a long wait time for a refund (which is substantial)? I have a net capital loss and I've loss confidence that this will be fixed by Turbo Tax any time soon.

I followed these instructions from a previous post and it worked for me!
- Use forms method. 2. Click on T-Slips and change any “split” T3’s to 100%. 3. Manually divide all amounts in half. 4. Change box 52 and 53 so that total of both shows up in box 53 (re: after June 25th) The amount in box 53 should equal box 21. 5. Using forms method, enter a new T3 for your spouse for their share using the same method splitting the entries. 6. Open Schedule 3 and check line 17600 and then open form T936 and check line 68140. These amounts should be the same. If not, don’t bother trying to netfile.

None of the workaround works for me including splitting T3 into half.
I don't have spousal splitting and I have capital losses

Capital losses seem to be the key factor in this working. I don't understand how they cannot simply copy the field over to the T936.

As I explained in some previous posts this morning and yesterday, I believe the capital loss part of error 95365 is CRA's fault, not Intuit's. All brands of tax software will be susceptible to that issue. CRA is (apparently) working on a fix for that, according to a post on Reddit yesterday that shows a reply from WealthSimple Support to a WealthSimple user, where CRA admitted this. See my earlier posts for details.
