FHSA Year FHSA Opened

Hi @TurboTaxAniqua . Ended up fixing the problem by  finding my  FHSA participation room statement  from  my CRA account  and filling  out the   EasyStep form " Amounts from my FHSA participation room statement".  In forms view I filled it  out the form as follows:

I'm still getting an error. Wether I clear the entire step 1 or put 2024 (the year I opened the FHSA account), it still gives me an error. It takes me to another form which says: "Refer to your 2025 FHSA participation room statement to complete the following section" - There is nothing to complete!!

@user17767370154 . I found the participation room for 2025 by logging into my Cra account. It was a bit tricky to find but it's there!

There is no such information for those who opened the account in 2024.

TurboTax worded their prompt very poorly... After struggling so hard through all the forums, I was able to figure this out. Here's the direct instruction from CRA form.

So if you opened your FHSA in 2024:

• STEP 1 (EasyFile: the page asking if you opened your first FHSA & what year)
  • tick "no" 
  • LEAVE THE REST BLANK
• STEP 2 (EasyFile: the page with all the amount boxes)
  • fill in the information as shown on your CRA account
  • it is quite tricky like the other person said but here's how I found mine:

    • Go to Savings and pension plans

    • In the FHSA section, click View FHSA Details

    • Click FHSA participation room (this link appears within the text "2026 FHSA participation room: not avaiable")

    • On this screen, there's a box called "FHSA participation room history", and "January 1, 2025" should be a hyperlink you can click to finally get to your 2025 FHSA participation room statement
