How do I enter the total amount of Electricity, heat and water in TurboTax’s Work-Space-In-The-Home form? The amount I need to enter includes GST and Provincial Tax.
You will enter the amount in the box that has the tax you paid. If you paid GST only, then the amount goes in the GST box and if both taxes then the HST box. If you are registered with a GST# and claimed your GST then you will not include the GST part as this would now be claimed twice.
