Hi there, when attempting to file my taxes. I keep getting this error.
i checked the list of locked forms and don’t use any of them. I already paid for the product so I don’t understand why this would happen.
my current tax forms are:
t4 / releve 1
t5 / releve 3
t4fhsa
Releve 22
what is the issue here !!!!
It seems to be an issue on TurboTax's side, even though they keep blaming the CRA. I am in the exact same boat, none of my forms match the listed locked forms, but I'm still getting the same error message. Calling the support line just has a support tech read out the FAQ page out loud and not help at all.
Please verify that none of the forms you are using are locked: TurboTax FAQ: Why does TurboTax say my forms are locked or haven't been finalized?
If you are not using any locked forms, we suggest you to contact our Product support team. They have access to tools we don't have here in Community, like screenshare, and investigate this issue for you.

I have same forms T4, T5 and T220, and have the same message, locked forms I paid 2 times, thinking it was my issue so I restarted.
I called and with screen sharing, we found the T5 was the issue blocking it. Customer service told me ALOT of people are stuck too. If I removed the T5, it became unlocked and I could have continued to file. They said they have no clue when this would be fixed and can't file without the T5 so STUCK! It better be fixed before the deadline!
Ah, so the T5 is the issue. Weird, it's not at all in the Locked Forms FAQ page.
The T5 has been (and still is, right now) available on the CRA's website since the 13th of December 2024, so unfortunately it seems TurboTax is simply lying when they say the issue is on the CRA's side. My friends have been able to filed with a T5 using different programs, so it seems TurboTax simply hasn't done the work on their side.
I also have the same issue. I deleted the T5 and everything seems okay, but I cannot file my taxes without the T5.
The problem is still not resolved as of March 1st, 2025. Customer service is not helpful. They put put me on-hold for 60min. First they blamed the CRA, then when i confronted them by saying that I called the CRA and confirmed that no forms are blocked, they stated that it's a problem of the TurboTax software and they are working on it. They have No target date for resolution!
not only the problem was not solved, I received an email stating that my ticket was closed... with no resolution!

Support is rude and useless, keep blaming CRA, by reading this thread, I can see that we are all facing the same issue...

I've paid already, CRA says my account is perfectly fine, the issue is on the Turbotax side.
Same problem, called support and they told me I had to wait until a supposed update that would happen between yesterday and today, but the problem is still not fixed.
