Could an ADA height toilet along with a bidet be considered a medical expense for someone receiving back surgery?? Would it need a prescription? It is not clear if this could fall under device/equipment.
As seen below, per the Canada Revenue Agency you will need a prescription to claim the toilet:
Bathroom aids to help a person get in or out of a bathtub or shower or to get on or off a toilet – prescription needed.
