medical expenses are $3300 and net income is $37000 so the 3% of income is $1100 so the medical expenses should work
when you enter the $3000 in the Medical Receipts boxes, it should "magically" carry over into the Medical Worksheet --- this is NOT happening
@joangp1 Please make sure that the date that you have put in for your claim period is correct. If you have receipts from outside that claim period, they will not show in the list at the top of the Medical Expense Worksheet. Also, if you have a spouse/partner, they may be claimed on their return. You can switch who is claiming the expenses by clicking on the box under their name at the top of the worksheet.
If you are still not able to resolve the issue, our phone support team can actually look at your return with you to find out what is going on. This form will help you get the right number to call: https://support.turbotax.intuit.ca/contact/
@ee-ea US_Champion Thanks for the info, but here in Canada, it’s a bit different. As joangp1 said, your medical expenses must be more than 3% of your net income (line 23600) or $2,302, whichever is less, in order for you to be able to claim them. If you are married or living common-law, you can combine your medical expenses with those of your spouse to reach the 3% threshold or $2,302 minimum amount.
In 2019, the IRS allows all taxpayers to deduct the total qualified unreimbursed medical care expenses for the year that exceeds 10% of their adjusted gross income. For 2017 and 2018, the threshold amount was lowered to 7.5% of AGI

Indeed it was my error -- had the wrong dates on the worksheet. Thanks so much for pointing that out!
All good now
