my activation code is not working

Thanks for the help, it was the need to login to my account that's the difference this year.

@hankstar1 If you or your father bought TurboTax Online, you can activate this code only one time, in one account. All returns have to be produced in the same account where the code was originally activated.

@TurboTaxVeronique what does that mean?  The package clearly states "Activation code for 8 returns". Do I have to log in to my fathers account in order to file? How do I access my account if I do so?

Is that code already linked to your father's account? If the code is activated and linked to one account, it cannot be linked to another account.

So does that mean I cant even use it to file my return? Or can I log in to his account and file?

@hankstar1 Yes, it states 8 returns but one account or user only. You can certainly log into his account to prepare and file your return.
