Northern Residents Deduction

My wife's return shows a dollar figure deduction in the Northern Residents Deduction. I confirmed that the application checkboxes were blank, though initially my wife's had a checkmark in it  I removed it but the deduction amount is still there under the review and despite many attempts to remove the dollar amount it's still there  This pertains to Turbotax Deluxe Canada 2022

Removing the checkmark does not necessarily clear the claim application. Please go back in as if you are applying for the Northern Residents Deduction and click that she qualifies and delete the information within then continue to save the changes you have made. Once the information is cleared you can go back and delete that she wishes to claim it and save.
