For years I have always bought the Premier version because I thought it was needed to report investment income and cap gains.
I now see in the product comparison page that Premier offers "guidance".
I don't need guidance. I compute my own cap gains, etc.
Can someone confirm that the standard version allows me to fill all the required forms and schedules?
(I am aware of the difference in number of returns allowed)
Thanks.
I always used Standard
and I have Dividends, Interests, Capital Gains and Losses every year
Never had a problem what so ever, all forms are filled
I don't know if you have any other specifics but this is my experience
Many thanks for your feedback. That's what I suspected. I'll put an end to my undue generosity towards Intuit.
Can someone please confirm that this has not changed for tax year 2023?
Thanks.
While we recommend using TurboTax Premier CD/Download if you have investments, all versions of TurboTax CD/Download have the same forms. So, you can use Standard if you prefer.
