T1198 - "The breakdown of principal (total of boxes 68520 through 68560) must equal the total principal amount (box 68519)." They do equal but I still get this error.

 

I fill in 68518 and 68519 and Total principal autofill in.

I then entered in the years relevant.

I still get the error message.

Turbotax seems to be doing something in the background that it does not like.

I  cannot submit my return with an error.  Seems silly to pay for Turbotax and not be able to submit.

Hoping you will help.

Unfortunately, TurboTax does not seem to have a fix for this.

I had to print and mail in my return.

Please double check what you have entered on the T1198 form. Also make sure that you have entered the T4, T4A or T4E slip(s) that correspond with the income you have entered on the T1198 form.
