Have you used a sharing license code or shared the license code? If so, you must download TurboTax Desktop after logging into your/their Intuit account.
Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
It did have to do with using an old email. A good reminder to keep login info saved somewhere safe. Thanks
I bought the program and my wife used it on her computer but I am not allowed to use it???
And I have no idea what you are talking about.
@Tom donaghy When does that error occur? Does the error have a description?
Im confused, the download page has nowhere to log in before downloading, so how can we follow:
"If so, you must download TurboTax Desktop after logging into your/their Intuit account."
When i log into the shared account (on desktop premier) i still get error 608.
Based on what im reading, logging into the shared account first should give me the option to select the used key (only 1/3 computers used so far)
@TbTxWil You need to download the software, then when you start the installation, it will ask you to login.
That's what i thought, thank you for confirming.
So after I do this, and log into the shared account (that already has 1/3 PC code uses), it still asks for a code.
Is it not supposed to recognize that the account has a code available?
Matt
@TbTxWil Yes, you will need a license code if you are downloading a Desktop version.
