I currently cannot open the desktop program. I am prompted for to update the program as usual, and then it just quits when selecting YES (NO is not an option).
I had no issues previously when I began to enter my information.
I have tried uninstalling, restarting my computer, and reinstalling to have the same result. Can we get a fix here INTUIT?
@mandrusiak2 Updating through the program was an epic fail for me this morning too. However, the very kludgy workaround of uninstalling and then reinstalling from https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tax/software/download worked for me and most other users (but failed for a few, apparently...). If you are worried that uninstalling might delete your tt24 files (it didn't delete mine), then a prudent extra step would be to make a backup of those tt24 files before doing the uninstall. After the update, make sure the About Box shows this version (or later): Version 00.01.62 Build 6007 068G25
Something got fixed. It worked after trying for over half an hour.
