Spouse Income for deceased

I was asked to provide spouse income for my tax filing, she passed away last year during our separation.  Unfortunately, I am not sure what the final income for her and it didn't let me online filing till I enter the amount.  Should I enter a high level amount?  Or would I need to wait till her tax return is ready.

We are sorry to hear of your loss.

If you don't know her income, then you can either put an estimate, or enter zero. Either way, say no to the spousal amount.

Sorry - what do you mean by say no to spousal amount?  I wasn't able to skip this error and it forced me to enter a number so I can do e-filing.
