I'm also having the same problem. Column 8 not adding correctly. I'm using Turbotax standard downloaded from CD.
Column 8 can't handle negative numbers. They are not included

No easy way to get to a technical person. I think this is being worked on.
For a temporary fix make sure any losses are entered on Schedule 3 and not T1170

Could be my screw up. Was using T1170 when I should have been using S3 (SUPP). Might still be a problem with T1170.
