T3 BOX 25 (2023)

Why there is NO box 25 on the T3 form at the 2023 turbotax program re: the Foreign non-business income.  How do I report such income ?

You will need to upgrade to our TurboTax Home & Business version to be able to enter Foreign non-business income.

Once in the Forms you can search for T3 and enter box 25 as seen in the image below.

I already upgrade to the Home & business version but on the T3, it still does not have the box 25 for me to enter the foreign non-business income amount ???

If you are using EasySteps- please go to your T3 and scroll down and click on "Other Boxes" this will open up a new window and you will see box 25.

Turbo tax has two Box 25 for the T3.

Foreign Investment Income and Other Foreign Income.

My T3 says Non-Business Foreign Income.

which box in Turbo Tax do i put the amount?

Turbo Tax also requires Source country of income. My T3 does NOT give this information. Cannot continue with TurboTax

If you are reporting foreign income, even if the amount is in CAD, you still have to enter what country the amount is from. If the income is not from the USA, you can pick Country 2. You can go into Forms mode and enter the name of the country on the Foreign Tax Credit Worksheet. If the income is from more than one country, you can name it "Global".
