I have just started a new business last year of restoring homes and selling then. I also am self employed in Real estate for many years. But I did purchase a hoem as an investment property also. when I look at the turbo tax selections. It shows 1) investment or 2) self employed. Ihave always used the self employed but so far I have not seen anything about my investment property. So I am questioning which turbo tax do I fill out to fit both self employed for real estate and house restoration and Investment property??
Thanks
TurboTax Self-Employed Online has everything that the other versions have, including investments. You may not have seen anything about investments previous if you didn't select any investment related options from the start of the interview.
If you have just bought a property to hold and sell at a later date, you don't need to report it until you sell the property.
