Why is my line 13500 amount higher than line 13499?

I'm a stay-at-home mom and my only income last year was $2,000 from babysitting (which I did, caring for a friend's child for a few months last summer).  I entered that as self-employment business income.  I didn't bother claiming any expenses as deductions.  My line 13499 amount shows the $2,000 I entered, but the net amount on line 13500 says 6,043.96.  Why is this?  I didn't earn 6,043.96.
