just not sure if I might gain anything by using a self employed version even though I am full time employee...just don't want to miss any credits for home office expenses

You can find all of these things on the Standard version of TurboTax. Just be sure to answer the questions properly in the interview section, then things will come up and you will be asked step by step questions.
