Open TurboTax
Hello! I am using TurboTax Premier Windows Desktop Download (Canada). When I go to the payment panel to purchase Assist & Review for $75, in the credit card section, the pull-down for MONTH only goes to 10. It won't scroll further and I need 11 (November). I tried shrinking the font size in TurboTax and then shrinking the resolution on my screen from 1920 x 1080 to 2560 x 1440 but nothing works. Please help - I really want to get going with Assist & Review. Thanks in advance Bruce
Please try clicking in the month box and using the arrow keys to select the month.
If you are still not able to resolve this issue, please contact our phone support team for more assistance.

Clicking in the month box and then using arrows did NOT work. I have tried this previously. Using the arrow keys only allowed me to scroll to last displayed month which was 10. It looked like the frame for the scroll box extended outside the active windows window and therefore it could not be scrolled to or arrowed to. I had to use a different credit card with an expiry date < 10 in order to proceed.
Thank you for your feedback, and we will be looking into this.
I had the same issue purchasing Audit Defense, can't enter any expiry date after 10 (October). I called Telephone Support today and this issue wasn't fixed - it's over a month since the last update on March 6, 2026.
I was told use another credit card, but I need to use the one I'm using to get a $15 statement credit from the card issuer. Turbotax won't honour that and just told me to use another credit card. Not using Turbotax next year after this experience.
Our technical engineering team are looking into this, and hope will be added with our new update coming on Thursday. Have you tried just manually entering 11 or 12 to see it would be accepted.?
I was told to try these 3 methods, but none worked...
This is a known UI bug in the TurboTax Desktop software where the credit card expiration dropdown fails to register mouse clicks for months 09 through 12.
To bypass this restriction and enter "10," use one of the following keyboard-based workarounds:
Instead of clicking the dropdown menu, use your keyboard to force the input:
If you have already opened the dropdown menu:
Some users have reported success by:
Note: If these methods still fail, some users found that entering a "wrong" month (like 02), letting it fail the validation check, and then re-entering the correct month sometimes "unlocks" the field for a second attempt.
Thank you for your feedback. This is a known issue and they are hoping to have it resolved on the next update by end of week.
