Hello,
I worked a Mystery Shopper and 'do not have a net loss'. My question is regarding the reimbursements. How and where are they claimed? Are they supposed to be reported and if they are, are they taxable income? They are obviously not expense as in they are not my direct expense such as mileage, paper, printing etc, but to get paid for the shop, I am required to purchase something which is reimbursed.
I tried looking at CRA's website but it does not seem to be much helpful and the internet is all over the place. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
