I hate this on line software. I paid for my licences for the standard version. I was able to import my tax info from 2018 and have yet to file. As I go to start my husband's taxes for 2019, it keeps suggesting I buy another round of licences and all help groups keeps telling me the import 2018 feature is broken, last update appears to be January 17th and to "check back". It's tax season, when are you fixing this?
And why can't you just let us download the software - I have no interest in cloud based tax computing??
You indicated that you are using the downloaded version of the software, please make sure your software is updated and try again. Any suggestions for purchasing more licenses can be declined.
If you are still encountering an issue after the update, please contact our support team as they are able to view your screen to determine what may be causing this issue.
Footnote: If the agent is unable to resolve this issue, ask them to “escalate” to higher personnel.
