The "Import tax data from CRA/RQ..." is deactivated - greyed out.  Why and how do I activate this function so that I can download my data from CRA ?

The CRA has closed the Auto-fill my return service for maintenance. It will be available again on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 6 AM (Eastern Time).

It is Feb.11 and the “Important tax data from CRA/RQ…” is still not available.  Please let me know when this feature will be available.

As per the Canada Revenue Agency, they are currently shut down for its annual maintenance to prepare for the 2022 tax filing year, they remind you that Auto-Fill My Return (AFR) is not fully functional until March 15, 2023. You may be able to use the service by February 20th, 2023, but they still may not have all the slips online.

In my TurboTax 2024 for desktop the Import tax data from CRA" is deactivated - greyed out.

Is the import tax data from CRA still unavailable as of March 22,2025? Have been trying for the last few days but the function is still greyed out!

@SL238 Yes, it is available. We suggest trying to clear cookies and cache or using a different browser when signing into CRA My-Account.

After clearing all the cookies and cache, the File - Import Tax Data from CRA is still greyed out (not available).  I opened the Turbotax 2023 app to check if this function is available to check if it is still working for the 2023 Turbotax software.  Indeed, the Import Tax Data from CRA is not greyed out and working.

@SL238 If you are using TurboTax Desktop, in EasyStep Mode, please select Income & Expenses > Import Tax Data from CRA. Or switch to Forms mode, as the option from the file menu is only available in Forms mode.
