Sign in to your account Click Intuit Account Products and Billing View More TurboTax Find the program needed and download it. This will work if you purchased from TurboTax. If you purchased somewhere else, call the helpdesk for advice on how to get a download for your new device.

The IRS is sending those refunds in batches and the first batch went out in July. They will continue to send out the refunds until all have been processed. You do not need to do anything except wait and hope yours is in the next batch.

To change the amount listed as “Other Income”, you would first have to find out where it comes from.
Line 13000 - Other Income contains taxable income not included in other categories. Common sources of Other Income include scholarships/bursaries, retiring allowances, lump-sum payments, death benefits, and payments from a Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP). Box 66 or 67 from your T4 slip would also be considered as Other Income.

In TurboTax follow the steps to report your property sale. There are sections for the sale of rental property and for the sale of your principal residence. You will report the entire sale and also the mortgage amounts as you go through the interview. You will pay taxes on the gain from the sale.

After your return is processed and any refund is received, file an amended return with the correct information. Make sure you are not putting in the RRSP twice on the amended return.

You can deduct the portion of the cost that is relative to the portion of the home that you use as a home office. For example, if you entire home is 2000 square feet and your home office is 200 square feet, then you can deduct 10% of the cost of the heat pump. Be sure you understand this and can defend your deduction if you should get audited.

You need to amend your 2019 return to claim 2019 tutition. You can no longer claim a deduction for unreimbursed employee expenses unless you fall into one of the following categories of employment, or have certain qualified educator expenses. Armed Forces reservists. Qualified performing artists. Fee-basis state or local government officials. Employees with impairment-related work expenses Non-capital losses can be carried back 3 years, or carried forward 7, 10 or 20 years.
