When you go through the Provincial section of your son's return, at the end it will show a summary that includes the amount of British Columbia non-refundable tax credits.    Or, you can you can look at the PDF archive of your son's return to see the BC428 form.

my frustration level is off the charts with this program. I purchased it at staples but am not able to install it on my main computer but have installed it on my laptop. It recognizes that I have a licensed version, but I'm unable to advance to the next screen.
why would i upgrade if this does not apply to my wife and I? Thats what this whole post is about.

Its impossible to get through to anyone to ask a question.  I have tried every number and that number you gave is for individual not business. That is why i asked here to see if anyone knew
