As per the TurboTax Desktop Software License Agreement:   2.2 You acknowledge and agree that the Software is licenced, not sold. You agree not to use, nor permit any third party to use, the Software in a manner that violates any applicable law, regulation or this Agreement. You agree you will not:   Provide access to or give the Software, a copy of the Software, or any part of the Software to any third party; Reproduce, duplicate, modify, copy, deconstruct, reverse-engineer, sell, trade or resell the Software; Transfer your licence to the Software to any other party; Attempt unauthorized access to any Intuit Services or other Intuit systems that are not part of the Software or that you are not authorized to access or use; Permit any third party to benefit from the use or functionality of the Software via a rental, lease, timesharing, service bureau, hosting service, or other arrangement, or make the Software available on any file-sharing or application hosting service.   Additionally:   Intuit grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use a single copy of the enclosed Software, and any updates or maintenance releases thereto together with any related documentation (the "Documentation"), on the number of computers identified below, according to the terms set forth in this Agreement. You are not licenced or permitted under this Licence Agreement to do any of the following: (a) rent, loan, resell, sublicence, assign, distribute, or re-distribute the original CD or a copy of the Software to any other person; (b) make the Software available on any file-sharing or application hosting service; (c) electronically send the Software to any other person; (d) copy the printed materials or user documentation accompanying the Software other than as necessary to support the uses permitted herein; or (e) decompile, disassemble, or otherwise reverse engineer the Software. Any person who received the Software through any of the foregoing prohibited methods, or through any method other than purchasing a licence for this Software from Intuit or an Intuit authorized reseller, is not authorized to use such Software.

You would need to make an adjustment using the Canada Revenue Agency’s (CRA) My Account service or you can print & mail a T1-ADJ T1 Adjustment Request.

@user17522384260 TurboTax Online will automatically start you in the same version of TurboTax that you used last year, if you transfer your prior year's info into this year's return.   Also, if you are claiming rental expenses or a rental loss that was carried forward, you would still need to use the rental form, even if you didn't have income.

You should contact the CRA on how to proceed, as changing your residency status and how long you were a resident might significantly change your return.    If you are in Canada or the United States, you can call the CRA at 1-800-959-8281. If you are elsewhere, you can call 613-940-8495. This page has more ways to contact the CRA: Contact the Canada Revenue Agency

is there any way to get a new install key for TT 2016 premier? the last 3 digits on my envelope lable rubbed out over the years and I need to redo my 2016

While it can be frustrating, it’s common for the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to make a tax return assessment that is different from yours.     The reasons for these discrepancies may vary and can range from very simple (typo or data entry error, forgotten slip, receipt, amount, etc) to complex (carry-forward amounts not included, accounting errors, etc).    In most cases, the CRA will explain how they calculated your tax refund or balance owing, and you can find this information on your Notice of Assessment (NOA), under the heading Explanation of changes and other important information. Compare the line numbers on your NOA and their corresponding values with those entered into TurboTax.   If you're eligible for the disability tax credit, you'll have disability amount claim on line 31600. This TurboTax Canada FAQ has information on how to get a PDF copy of your tax return in TurboTax Online: How do I print a copy of my tax return in TurboTax?

It would depend on what years you need to do, what version of the software you are using, and if you are using TurboTax Online or TurboTax Desktop (for Windows).   TurboTax Online is currently only available for 2022, 2023 & 2024. The price would depend on what you enter on your return.   TurboTax Desktop is currently available for tax years 2018 to 2024, but Assist & Review is only available for 2022, 2023 & 2024. We also have 4 different versions of the software.   This TurboTax Canada webpage shows everything that we have available for previous tax years: File past years' taxes   If you need to file a return for 2017 or earlier, you can download the forms from the CRA here: https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/forms-publications/tax-packages-years.html  
There is no limit to how many years you can carry forward your moving expenses, but they can only be deducted against income from the place you moved to be closer to.
