This is very disappointing considering there's been a whole year to include the updated form, which admittedly is still inadequate since many people have more than 4 eligible family members. At least some help in the software on workarounds would be appreciated. But then the Northern Residents deductions seem to be a very low priority since it is hidden away under other deductions where a person new to the software would most likely miss it entirely. Why the software wouldn't check the users address against the prescribed zones and suggest you claim it is beyond me. But then, the whole way the CRA handles it has always been horrid too.
