I purchased a download version but I’m doing my taxes online. Since I cannot use the installation key code, can I get a refund and then I’ll purchase the version?

I started to do my taxes on-line on my ipad and then decided to buy a download version on my laptop (not apple).  The purchase was done on my ipad though and I cannot access my e-mail on my laptop to do the download.  How can I get the downloaded version on my laptop that I’ve already paid for?
