Is it possible to transfer the details entered in turbotax online to the desktop software?

I have entered all the details and meanwhile bought the turbotax software and installed the app in my laptop. is there a way to download the online data so that I can file thru the software ?

Unfortunately, you can't open TurboTax Online returns in TurboTax CD/Download. TurboTax Online can't create .tt files, which is what TurboTax CD/Download uses.

Really disappointed to see this. I was told I would be able to transfer my data from the online version to my CD version if I didn't like the online version.

I am not able to find the Tools to even see the tax forms online. It is not in the menu at the top left. Where can I find it?

Unfortunately, there is no Tools tab in the Online software. Everything needed is in the menu on the left of the return. You will be able to view what you're looking for by clicking and opening each arrow on the side. Individual tools will be under their own category.
