@School83 When you login to TurboTax, does it look activated? If not, you can try entering the activation code into the coupon code box on the payment screen of a return.
I purchased a TurboTax standard at Costco and I am trying to put the license code in that was inside the packaging and it keeps saying something is incorrect. What am I doing wrong
I am the only person who has entered the code on only one computer
First, please make sure that you have purchased the right product. The codes for TurboTax Online will not work with TurboTax CD/Download & vice-versa.
Second, if you bought TurboTax at a retailer Costco, please make sure that you are using the code that came in the package. It may be on a slip of paper or on a scratch-off card. It is not on the outside of the box or on your receipt.
If you have bought TurboTax Online, please go to turbotax.ca/activate to use your code before you start your returns. You can see this TurboTax FAQ for step-by-step instructions: In TurboTax Online, how do I use a prepayment code? Please note that you can only use the code once in one account. Using the code again will give an error message.
If you have bought TurboTax CD/Download, you will be asked for the licence code when you install the software. activation code is not working ..same problem as angieerickson ...just give me CD like every other year !!!!!!

When I call this number I only get a recording which does not tell me why my code is not working. I bought turbo tax standard digital download. I have tried the code serval times. Item bought at Costco online
Can you please try going into cognito mode on your browser and then activating your software. Otherwise if you are getting the message "Something went wrong" and you are sure you purchased TurboTax Online and was instructed to go to turbotax.ca/activate- then please log into your account using this link. Once in, click on start a new return choosing the software that you purchased and complete your return. Before you file, you will get to a payment page where you will enter your code.

i do not know what to do ,last year i use cd there is no problem,this year i bought deluxe online edition with activation in side.but when i enter the code same as on the card it is not working
