Entering the licence code

 I get a message stating The licence code you have entered is not valid. Error code 606.

The code I have entered IS correct. 
What do I do to resolve this impasse?

First, please make sure that you have purchased the right product. The codes for TurboTax Online will not work with TurboTax Desktop & vice-versa.

Second, if you bought TurboTax at a retailer (Costco, Walmart, Staples, etc…), please make sure that you are using the code that came in the package. It may be on a slip of paper or on a scratch-off card. It is not on the outside of the box or on your receipt.

If you have bought TurboTax Online, please go to turbotax.ca/activate to use your code before you start your returns. Using the code again will give an error message.

If you have bought TurboTax Desktop, you will be asked for the licence code when you install the software. First, thank you for your helpful reply.

Second, yes, I bought the right product and Used the 16 digit code supplied on the printed sheet in the box.

Third, all of my attempts to ente the access code were futile.

I have used TurboTax for my personal taxes for several years and have never experienced the difficulty in using this years version.

I am convinced that the access code is faulty and I will eventually return it to the retailer, Staples.|
