To enter your T1198 (Statement of qualifying retroactive lump-sum payment) in TurboTax Online, search for “T1198” on the Tax Home page (2024 tax return on the left), and select “T1198” from the list.

If you don't have a NETFILE confirmation code, you still need to submit your tax return using NETFILE. NETFILE is a free service from the CRA. Any payment you made was to use TurboTax, and as long as you don't upgrade or add TurboTax services to your return, then you won't need to pay again.
Follow these instructions for TurboTax Online or TurboTax Desktop to NETFILE your return.
