We no longer have TurboTax Online for 2021. If you purchased it from our website, then it's the Desktop version (for Windows), which you can download here: Where can I download the Desktop edition of TurboTax?   TurboTax Online 2022 is still available, but we don't sell prepayment codes for it on our website - you pay before you file. So, if you bought a code directly from us, then it's for TurboTax Desktop.

Right, but I think it autopopulated my T4A slips - I then had to delete them from self-employment cause it got all mucked up with the previous double addition. I now have those self-employment amounts in the first category of "Self-Employment" pictured below, as well as being included in the "Income" category also pictured. In Self-Employment once of the amounts has been reduced by my deductions, but in Income it is still listed in full, which makes me think it's a double accounting. Would that be true?   Thanks for all your help so far   -Mack
Any self-employment income on your T4A slips will only be counted as self-employment income.
We never had TurboTax Desktop for Mac in Canada.
Thanks.  Do you ever intend to bring back TT for Mac OS?

I had a similar experience. I was filing taxes for my mother who passed away in 2024. I cannot file for my parents as a couple due to this. I have to file separately which is fine but I was charged double when I filed for my father. Called customer service and after going through the return again said there is a bug and I should file my mothers taxes, get double charged, call customer service and wait 3 weeks for a refund. What kind of solution is that? Will never use this garbage again. I have to overpay because they don’t fix their bugs. I’ve been a customer for 10 years and now I’m done.

Hi, I resent my documents and it’s been almost two months now but I still haven’t received any notification or update. I honestly have no idea where things stand and I’m not sure who to contact to follow up on the status of my request. Since I’m no longer in Canada, it’s a bit complicated for me to manage everything from abroad. I’d really appreciate any guidance or support you could offer.

No, if the income was already reported on T-slips, then you don't need to enter it again as part of your Total Revenue.   TurboTax will make a new business profile for each T-Slip that has self-employment income, but you only need to completely fill out one. On the other one you can just fill out the required information. The income (and expenses) from all your T2125s will be combined into the same line on the T1 (line 13500 in the case of Business Income).
From May 1 to mid-February, our Tax Experts are available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM ET.
