No, you can't claim this credit for a home or apartment.
You should add them to your previous year's return. If you end up with a loss, you can carry the loss forward.

Living common law means that you are living in a conjugal relationship with a person who is not your married spouse, and at least one of the following conditions applies: This person has been living with you in a conjugal relationship for at least 12 continuous months. (12 continuous months includes any period you were separated for less than 90 days because of a breakdown in the relationship.) This person is the parent of your child by birth or adoption. This person has custody and control of your child (or had custody and control immediately before the child turned 19 years of age) and your child is wholly dependent on them for support. If you satisfy any of these conditions, the CRA requires you to change your status on your tax return.   Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

Hello,   I am trying to enter my detailed info into turbo tax, but I don't see a place to do the calculation for being a part time employee, does it assume we are full time?   The formula for fulltime is 40 hours divide 168 x % of space used in house for work  (part time would be less, say 20 hours).

You can claim eligible expenses for a move to or from Canada if both of the following apply: • You are a full-time student (including co-operative student), or a factual or deemed resident of Canada. • You moved from the place where you ordinarily resided to live in another place where you ordinarily reside. However, you cannot claim moving expenses if you rent an apartment in another country where you are working temporarily and you maintain residential ties in Canada.   The CRA allows couples to split moving expenses. If you split expenses between you and your spouse, only claim the portion of expenses that your partner isn’t claiming. It’s usually beneficial for the higher-earning spouse to claim all moving expenses.   Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

But.....current problem....I am trying to purchase online the 2022 Turbo Tax, and it will not let me fill in a credit card with a non-Canadian address.  How can I purchase the download????
