The Turbo Tax software for 2022 is malfunctioning. I have used the same industry code for 20 years . . . maybe they changed it this year. I looked it up . ..  possible. I enter a bunch of different ones . I enter a whole bunch of different ones and still TT gives me an error.   between the old information on google and the total lack of information from our incompetent government  I can't file without it . . . Never NEVER ever had this problem before . . .. I file tax returns for my whole family . .. same industry code  . . . but no in 2022 it's an error????? what gives?   NOT happy!!!! Old industry code for direct sales 454300 . . .. I looked it up and says the new industry code should be 454390 or is it 5963?? the government doesn't say . . . and absolutely nothing works! finally I just entered 541860 and it took it .. .  nothing intuitive about this at all and it doesn't work.

Hi Susan, thanks for the reply. It is showing as a red circle 1 with ¨Please check the box or adjust amounts entered¨. It does not indicate a box to check or fix. It will not let me leave a zero in the End of Year amount - it just posts the error message again. If I put a ¨1¨ for end of year value, it is accepted and I can move on, but not if I enter a zero. Since the account was closed during the year, it has a max value, but no end of year value. Hope that helps!

My husband repaid $1000 of CERB benefits in 2022.  Searched for the COVID repayment form but I am unable to enter the amount in the "Amount of repayment to claim in 2022" line as there are no boxes available to enter the amount into.  If I try to enter it in the line for "...claim in 2021" I get an error at the top of the screen that says "The total amount to deduct on 2020/2021 returns can’t be more than the total repayment available to deduct."  The letter we received from Service Canada says to enter the repayment amount on line 23210 of your 2022 return.  How do I search for this line in Turbo Tax.

I am getting the below error code each time I try to NETFILE my 2021 return.   I have updated based on 2022 codes on stats can and it still does not work please help!     Write down the following error code(s) 280002 from the CRA and then contact TurboTax Customer Support if you need assistance.

Vous avez juste à entrer une province et ensuite changer pour non résident et le logiciel plante!!!!!   Vous disiez il y a trois semaines que le problème serait réglé avant le 20 février mais en date du 25 février toujours pas de solution. La version 2021 fonctionnait bien.

I am having this issue now. I filed with turbotax online for the past 2 years. I am faced with the question:   Hello again! We're so glad you're back If you used TurboTax Online last year, we can help you jump start this year's return with a transfer from last year. Would you like us to help you sign into your account? Yes, help me sign into my account No. I want to skip file transfer   When I click Yes, and Continue, I am then prompted to log in again to my account, then it brings me right back to this page. Please help!

I checked my claim twice and could not find the discrepancy, so I have since used a competitor to file my free claim. The list has the following exception items that I made no claims for in my 2022 return.    Employment expenses (meals, lodging, etc.)   Donations   Medical expenses   Investment income   Rental property income   Business income

Yes, if your returns are upgraded or you add extra services like Audit Defence or Assist & Review, the you will only pay the difference between the price of the upgrade and the price of a Deluxe return.   Before starting your returns, you need to enter your activation code on our website here: https://shop.app.intuit.ca/activate?rootProfile=ca&locale=en-ca Then you will need to prepare all your returns in the account you used your activation code in.

You may have entered a slip that has things on it that are not supported by the Free version. Also, if you transferred your information from last year, you might have brought over something that is also not included in TurboTax Online Free. This TurboTax page has a list of what is include in TurboTax Online Free: https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tax/filing/free
The Netfile Terms and Conditions only allow tax returns up to 2021 and NOT 2022.  I therefore could not agree to the terms as I want to file my 2022 return.  How can I file with NetFile?
