Hi, I'm using TurboTax Desktop Premier (Canada 2024), and I’m running into an issue where the TP-128 (Income and Expenses Respecting the Rental of Immovable Property Quebec) form keeps appearing and linking itself to my T776 (CRA) rental statement, even though the property is not located in Quebec.  Details: The rental property is in Newfoundland, not Quebec. I've tried deleting the TP-128 form, but it keeps reappearing. I also cleared the address and removed overrides, but the form still links. This is creating a duplicate provincial rental income and double-taxing me in Québec. The TP-128 forces itself into the return and blocks NetFile QC due to the override. Question: Is there a way to permanently decouple TP-128 from T776 for a property located outside Quebec? Alternatively, how can I enter federal T776 rental income without triggering the Quebec TP-128? Thanks!

The price you pay for the TurboTax App/TurboTax Online is based on what you enter on your tax return. If you choose add-ons like Assist & Review or the Premium Pack (Audit Defence) then the price of those services will also be added onto your return.   Also, if you prepare your returns together with a spouse/partner, then both people will be using the same version of TurboTax, and so you’ll be charged the same amount for both returns.   Additionally, most TurboTax discounts & promotions end on April 30, so in the past you might have taken advantage of a promotion that is no longer available.   Please see this TurboTax Canada FAQ for more information on who can use Free: Who can file for free using TurboTax?
I was able to locate my T2125 In my Saved PDF after filing .
Yes, you can. You can login to TurboTax Canada Online 2022 here: https://ww1.2022.ca.turbotaxonline.intuit.com/
Convenient to say "see schedule" and not actually include it, and TurboTax will say they have coded the program in accordance with instruction from CRA, so IDK ... good luck!

Thanks for weighing in on this, I certainly share your frustration with the issue. I've checked the CRA info and there is nothing applicable (as best I can see). Whatever the source of the number is, I do think there is a turbotax glitch since the entry on line 23200 says "see schedule" and there is no schedule.

I've re-sent the receipt for TurboTax Desktop 2019 which should have the installation code on it.    For 2020 & 2021 it looks like you used TurboTax Online. For TurboTax Online, you only need to enter the Activation code once, and then login with the account which you used the Activation code with. Unfortunately, TurboTax Online for 2020 & 2021 are no longer available, so you won't be able to create new returns or edit old ones. However, you can still get copies of your returns. Please see this TurboTax Canada FAQ for step-by-step instructions on how to get a copy of your return: How do I print a copy of my tax return in TurboTax?   If you need to prepare new returns for 2020 or 2021, you can buy older versions of TurboTax Desktop edition here: File past years' taxes    This TurboTax Canada FAQ has information on how to install older versions of TurboTax Desktop: What if I have trouble with my licence code while setting up TurboTax Download?   You can download older versions of TurboTax Desktop edition here: Where can I download the Desktop edition of TurboTax?

Does TurboTax 2021 STANDARD version allow reporting of prior years's capital losses and charitable donations and Employment Expense for example on line 23200?
