@onlyumike TurboTax Desktop doesn't work with Macs, it's for Windows 10/11 pcs only.

@mom31945 Since tax year 2020, there is a difference between a License Code (for Desktop) and an Activation Code (for Online). This error code 606 means you are trying to enter a Code for TurboTax Online in a Desktop software (or vice-versa).
We understand, sometimes, this can be confusing but, on the box (or on the retailer website), you have to choose between TurboTax Online and TurboTax Desktop. They are not the same software and codes from one cannot be used in the other one.
If on the box it's TurboTax Online, you can activate your code to your account on this link.
If on the box it's TurboTax Desktop, you can download/install your software from this link.
If you bought the wrong version, you can get a refund and then buy the one you need. by using this form to get a refund. Make sure to add a clear photo of your receipt, showing the name of the store, the date, the product bought and the price paid.

I have try to activate my premier online edition 2024, but it keeps kicking me out when I try to log in

I cannot activate my self employed online edition that I got from Costco, I follow as per the instruction but It keep going back to the following once I click on I have an account.
If you purchased TurboTax Online, you will go to turbotax.intuit.ca/activate to activate your license code. Then you will go here turbotax.intuit.ca and click on sign in. You should then be able to start a new return, and it should show you how many returns you have left.

Since last year Turbotax had problems but 2024 is GARBAGE. I bought the Deluxe online garbage and I can't forward last year's info, and as I get to a point, this garbage system tells me that I have to pay $60 for the tax return.
I would rather throw $45 in the garbage where this garbage turbotax belongs and buy Profile that is an excellent tax software program, a little more expensive but comparing it to this GARBAGE it's worth it!

I have looked everywhere for access to my activation code. I can not sign into a web page with my user name and password to access my purchases or prior year purchases. My sign in goes directly to their on line services which I do not want. I have spent at least a total of 6 hours on 3 different days trying to find a site or a contact who I can ask for access to my license code. This is ridiculous and so frustrating. Any help out there. It says I would have received an email and I can't find it.
