I have just entered the Ontario Staycation in my TurboTax Download and it seems to have no problem with the HST being entered in full and continuing from there.

In TurboTax desktop version, on the Provincial tab there there is an options for: "Non-resident making a Section 216.1 election" But I'm looking for Non-resident making a Section 216 election, not 216.1 election. Section 216.1 is different than Section 216: -Section 216.1 is for film and video acting services rendered in Canada -Section 216 is rental income from real or immovable property in Canada or timber royalties on a timber resource property or a timber limit in Canada There is no option in Turbotax desktop in provincial tab for section 216. Please verify

If this is the only return in your account, you’ll need to start a new return before you can delete your existing one. To start a new return, select “Start a New Return” from under “My Returns”. Once you have started your new return, you can select “View All Tax Returns” from under “My Returns” and delete the unwanted return by clicking the small Trash Can next to it (or “Delete” under the return name).

I have redeemed US Treasuries which result in reported capital gains that is offset (net zero gain/loss) by the accrued market discount ("AMD") as shown on my 1099-B Box 1(f). At the Federal level, Turbo Tax correctly reports the AMD as "interest" on Schedule B (since both US Treasury interest and AMD are treated as ordinary income at the Federal level). At the State level (OH), all interest on US Treasuries is non-taxable, yet I do not see any place or question in Turbo Tax to enter the AMD amount for the State return. My question is, at the State level is the reported AMD on US Treasuries treated the same as US Treasury interest (non-taxable) or is this treated as ordinary income? If the AMD is treated as US Treasury interest, and therefore not taxed at the State level, how/where is this entered in Turbo Tax?
Did you get an RC62 slip and enter it into TurboTax? Line 11700 comes from the RC62 slip, so if you didn’t enter one into the program, then that line will be 0.
Hi there I don’t use auto fill - I enter everything manually from the T4. I’m working on my 18 year olds taxes and there wasn’t any CPP amounts listed only EI.

Idaho e-file rejected because of Idaho K1. Never seen this message or had a problem in 10 years of using Turbotax download. And each and every year I had the same 3 Idaho K1s for the same three companies. I hope Turbotax is watching this post as this is a real problem. It will be costly for the Idaho State Tax Commission to take all these paper returns.
Did you Auto-Fill your return? The amount in box 26 is the amount of CPP/QPP pensionable earnings which were paid on your income.
