@T1filer The other posters was thinking of TurboTax Online, which will automatically calculate Box 25 for you. TurboTax Desktop doesn't do this. Also, while it hasn't changed in some time, the rate to calculate taxable amount of eligible dividends has been different from the current 138% in the past.   Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

Hi Susan we have been looking at our junk mail for a week now - and we have received no confirmation email.
Hello @TurboTaxVeronique @TurboTaxAniqua  ? any progress?
Hi, thanks for the reply. The T5008's at issue here have been automatically downloaded from the CRA website.
If you have many T5008 slips, you can try to combine them together to reduce the number of slips you have to work with.   Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

No, you don't have to claim expenses against your Self-Employment income.    The likely reason why your Self-Employment expenses are reducing your tax refund is because they are reducing your income to below the level needed to qualify for the Canada Workers Benefit (CWB).

@suraky Line 23400 less Line 23500 equals Line 23600. So, if your spouse didn't have any social benefit repayments, then Line 23400 is the same as Line 23600. Otherwise, you can see Line 23400 on the PDF Preview or Archive of your spouse/partner's return. Alternatively, you can prepare your returns together with your spouse/partner so the software can see that info automatically.   Previous years of TurboTax Online didn't ask for Line 23400, only Line 23600.    @thoss  If you want to edit the info you entered for your spouse/partner, click on "2024 tax Return" at the top left of the page. Then click on Tax Profile, then Additional Information About Your Spouse. Click Continue until you get to the "Tell us more about SPOUSE" page. There you can edit what you entered for line 23600 & 23500.
