Hello, I have completed the steps suggested by you to no success. I deleted cookies/ cache, re logged in and still an error about upgrading to deluxe. Even just clicking the tuition check box where it says it will need to be upgraded literally brings me to an upgrade page. I have it unchecked so unsure what else to do. I did also log in with a different web browser. Same issue.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can use File > Save As to save a copy of your return, so the original is left untouched.

As per the T2125 Statement of Business or Professional Activities, Direct wage costs or subcontracts would go into the Inventory section.
The inventory page only shows up in the Self-Employment section if you choose the "business" type and say Yes to the question "Did you sell products that you bought or manufactured".

@jerry35
If you are using TurboTax Desktop you can search for the Losses using the Find tool.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop in Forms mode, you can search for the Loss worksheet by clicking on the Forms icon in the blue icon bar.
The Losses section of TurboTax allows you to add the following to your return:
Allowable Business Investment Losses (ABIL)
Non-Capital Loss Carry Forward
Farming or Fishing Loss Carry Forward
Listed Personal Property Loss Carry Forward
Net Capital Loss Carry Forward
Limited Partnership Losses
Request for Loss Carryback
Also, can't find "Net Capital Loss Carry Forward". My opening information in Turbo Tax does correctly show the net capital loss carryforward but it is not being applied to the 2024 capital gain.
I cannot for the life of me find where to enter subcontractor expenses for self-employment, as the instructions in all other answers I've seen don't seem to apply for the current version of TurboTax.
