I want to start using turbo tax 2025 & want to enter my activation code

@ortmtc If you purchased TurboTax Online, you must activate the code to link it to your Intuit Online account. Please use this link to activate it for your account. This code can only be activated once in a single account. All returns must be filed from this account.

If you bought TurboTax Desktop, you need to download the software onto your computer from this link.

If you have bought TurboTax Do It Yourself (Online), please go to turbotax.ca/activate to use your code before you start your returns. Using the code again will give an error message.

If you have bought TurboTax Desktop, you will be asked for the licence code when you install the software. If you purchased TurboTax Online, you will go to TurboTax.ca/activate to activate your activation code. 

If you purchased the TurboTax Desktop/Download version, you will download your software from here. It will then ask for your license code—you will simply enter it and continue.
