I am so frustrated! I purchased Turbo Tax Deluxe Online from Amazon and I am not able to access the software. I have tried multiple ways and I get stopped each time. I have used Turbo Tax for years. I am not able to use the CD version any mor because my new computer does not support it. PLEASE HELP! The deadline to file is tomorrow.

@Tgushev First, please make sure that you have purchased the right product. The codes for TurboTax Online will not work with TurboTax Desktop & vice-versa.

Second, if you bought TurboTax at a retailer (Costco, Walmart, Staples, etc…), please make sure that you are using the code that came in the package. It may be on a slip of paper or on a scratch-off card. It is not on the outside of the box or on your receipt.

If you have bought TurboTax Desktop, you will be asked for the licence code when you install the software. I purchased the Deluxe Online edition this evening and have just tried downloading the program.  I am not sure why you people make this program so ridiculous to use.  I have been using this program as long as I can remember.  The last two years I have had issues.  Firstly, You show 6 boxes on your download page but not the mauve one which is the one I bought so I selected the Standard box.  When I enter the activation code it says that the account is invalid.  I tried again and selected the Basic and again it wouldn't accept it.  finally I went back and tried a different portal and selected the Online program and it is saying my uses are all used.  Try making this easier to use.  I will not go through this again next year.  I will use the Government Free Program

TurboTax Online/DIY version is not a downloadable version. 

The codes for TurboTax Online will not work with TurboTax Desktop & vice versa. If you bought the wrong version, you can request a refund and then buy the one you need.

If you bought TurboTax from a 3rd party retailer (ex: Costco, Staples, Walmart, etc.), please use this form to get a refund
