You don’t need to enter the amount that appears in Box 20 of your T4A(P). TurboTax will calculate the amount for Box 20 based on what you entered in boxes 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19.

@TurboTaxBrenda1 @TedN1 Hello. Thanks for responding. Just to confirm, I was sent a 40% off coupon (picture attached in my original post). When I went to finish filing my taxes, the 40% coupon was never applied. It looks like I was messaged saying that I would have a private response, but I haven't received anything. My files needed to be filed so I had to pay full price. Now I see that you messaged me wondering why I'm waiting for a response. Frankly, I would like to be reimbursed the 40% off as promised in that email that was sent to me. It clearly said that it would be applied at checkout and it never was. Please let me know if you need more information than this. Thank you!
I agree 100%. This requirement to sign in using the same username for multiple computers is ridiculous. And an invasion of privacy. I have used turbotax for many years. I WILL NOT BUY TURBO TAX AGAIN...

I actioned stock options last year. While the Canadian government planned to change capital gains deductions from 50% to 1/3rd, my company stuck with the former 50% amount. That means the full 50% deduction (box 91) is listed on my T4. Now that the government has changed their plan, tax softwares need to correct any 33% deductions by adding another 16.67% (box 24901 of return). However, turbotax doesn't seem to know mine is already 50%. It simply assumes a 33.33% deduction and added another deduction of 16.67% to my return that I can't find a way to override (I'm using online tool). Does anyone know what to do?
how do I transfer Turbotax 2024 from my old computer to new. Reason old computer has windows 10. commencing October 2025 windows 10 will no longer be supported

I am trying to answer the question "Select if you opened your first FHSA in 2024, or if you have FHSA amounts from 2023 reported on a notice of assessment (NOA) or a T1028 for 2024". The two available options are: "I opened my first FHSA in 2024" or "I have FHSA amounts from prior years reported on a notice of assessment or a T1028". I opened my FHSA in 2023 and don't have any unclaimed amounts from prior years, so I don't think either of these options apply to me?
