Are you trying to claim these expenses for yourself or a dependant? What province are you in? Are you using TurboTax Desktop or TurboTax Online?      
@qqppbbdd123 If you are seeing "CRA Result Code: 15 - Your account is locked."  you'll need to contact the CRA to unlock your NETFILE account.

@henrybubbles If your husband entered an amount from any of the boxes on the slips listed here, he has what the CRA considers to be self-employment or business income: T4 slip: box 81, 82 or 83 T4A slip: box 20 or 48 T4A slip: box 28 and you answered Yes to the question Does the income declared in Box 028 consist of fees collected for services you provided? in TurboTax Online T3 slip: box 24 (foreign business income) If he has an amount in any of these boxes, TurboTax will ask additional questions to report the income as self-employment/business income. He only needs to answer basic information, such as business name and address (can be his own), industry code, and fiscal period (Jan 01 to December 31).    If you are still not able to resolve this issue, please contact our phone support team for more assistance.

If the update doesn't work, please try uninstalling & reinstalling the program using the download from our website. It will not delete any of your saved returns.    If you are using TurboTax Online, you may need to clear your cache and cookies to see the changes, or you can try using another browser.   If you are still not able to resolve this issue, please contact our phone support team for more assistance.    We're available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM ET for English and French support.

@Trisnam Again, if you didn't have dates on your T5008, then the amounts were not going to Schedule 3, which where the T1 gets the info from. So, nothing on Schedule 3 = nothing on T1 = T5008 income not included in your tax calculations. One you add a date, then the T5008 gets added to your income.

How do I find the errors from this message?   "One or more entries in your tax return require correction. The data entered is either invalid, or mandatory information is missing. If you are unable to resolve the issues, please contact your software provider."  
Please clear your browser cache (or use a different browser) and try again. If you are still not able to resolve this issue, please contact our phone support team for more assistance.

You can enter the amount it as Line 10400 – Other employment income.   If you are using TurboTax Online, you can search for tips on the Tax Home page.    If you are using TurboTax Desktop in EasyStep mode, you can search for tips using the Find tool.    If you are using TurboTax Desktop in Forms mode, you can search for the EMPL worksheet by clicking on the Forms icon in the blue icon bar.  
If you are using TurboTax Online and preparing your return with a spouse, that counts as 2 returns, so you will be charged for 2 returns.

Using the code again will give an error message.   If you have bought TurboTax Desktop, you will be asked for the licence code when you install the software. If you're having trouble activating TurboTax Desktop in 2018 or prior years, follow these steps: Install and open TurboTax Desktop. Enter the installation key, then select Next. When asked to choose your activation method, select Automated Telephone Activation, then Next. In the new window, you'll see the installation and computer keys. Write down these codes for later use, then close the window. Call TurboTax support or download the activation tool here. Open the TurboTax Canada Activation tool. Select the tax year, enter the installation and computer key codes, then select Activate. Once you've received the successful activation pop-up, close the activation tool and open TurboTax Desktop.
